libplib1 software package provides Portability Libraries: Run-time package, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libplib1
libplib1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libplib1 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libplib1 *
You will get with libplib1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
